MEET YOUR PROFESSOR
Dr. Dylan Sinnickson is the owner and lead scientist at Florida Data Science Academy. He is formally trained in both statistical computing and quantitative ecology. With respect to his published research, Dr. Sinnickson primarily employs ecological models to study estuarine fish populations. Techniques with which he has particular expertise include time series analysis, machine learning, and big data analytics. Dr. Sinnickson has studied at numerous academic institutions throughout the United States including Middlebury College (Bachelor's - Conservation Biology), the University of Miami (Master's - Fisheries Management), and the University of Florida (PhD - Fisheries and Aquatic Sciences). In addition to working at FDSA, Dylan is a data scientist and postdoctoral researcher studying the ecology of the Florida Everglades.
